I have some wheat grass growing right now. I know that the most common way to use it is to squeeze the juice out of it and drink the juice. I'm looking for an easier way to use it. Would it be impractical to throw the wheat grass clippings in the blender with a smoothie? We have a Blendtec, which liquefies just about anything. I don't have a practical way to squeeze the juice out.

What say ye?

Thanks, but that's all about wheat sprouts. I'm not using the sprouts. I'm using the grass.

We have used a little wheat grass in smoothies. Even in a blendtec, which we have also, the fiber remains undigestible. So, if you put it in, don't use more than a handful, and be ready for a little digestive upset if you use too much. You will probably have to find your own levels of tolerance.

So, according to our experience, you can put it straight into your blendtec, but you can probably only handle a certain amount.

You can drop it in the blendetc, put the wheat grass mulch in a piece of cheesecloth and squeeze all the juice out, and add the juice back into the blendtec for the smoothies.

I hope that helps. Follow up with questions if you have more.
