Here is Dr. Susan Puls latest speaking schedule that we have. She wants us to remind you that the schedule may have changes and cancellations even up to the last minute. Some wards/stakes have either not given her a location address as yet or occasionally cancel at the last minute.

Who is she and what does she talk on? And how can she go around cancelling at the last minute? :toetap05:

This is the info I got on her from someone:

Dr. Susan Puls, who is a cardiologist appointed by the First Presidency of the Church as the head of the church's pandemic committee. She said she was not an expert on pandemics as this was not her specialty, but in the two years she's been in her position, is fast becoming one. She now works for the church on a full-time basis working on planning for the pandemic and trying to get the word out to as many church members as possible.

If she is employed by the church to get the word out to the Saints, why is she only speaking in UT and not across the US or even worldwide?

She does have and has had dates outside of Utah.

NRA where did the list come from? There is one that I really wonder about. It shows an 1110 meeting on a Sunday.

I can't see the schedule. My browser says a plug-in is missing, but when I install the plug-in I still can't see it.

mirk- Is the 30th a 5th Sunday? Maybe it's some combined RS/PH meeting during Church...? Like for 9am Church ... last meeting is RS?

Does anyone know what DP/PAN stands for? I am sure the PAN is pandemic. Just wondering how it differs from pandemic prep.

How do you schedule her for out of town stuff then? IE, How can I get her to come to my stake/ward and speak?

Dr. Puls is NOT employed by the church. She is a church service missionary. She does work directly with the brethren in her calling of pandemic research and preparedness. She does travel quite a bit and even has traveled outside of Utah.

Currently she travels at her expense so she is somewhat limited to where she goes and how often. Remember she is retired and is a full-time missionary.

She is really good and an amazing woman.
