Picante Sauce to can,I use it for taco's,Mexican food:o16: <hr style="color: rgb(209, 209, 225); background-color: rgb(209, 209, 225);" size="1"> <!-- / icon and title --> <!-- message --> Will can 14 jars of sauce and its really easy folks. Lots of ways to use it. I mostly use it on Mexican type food. :o16:

Pecante Sauce.

2 quarts tomato's
2 med green peppers finely chopped
2 medium onions, Finely chopped
2 garlic cloves finely chopped
4 Jalapeno Pepper's finely chopped with seeds. Be careful about getting this on hands
3/4 cup vinegar
3 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons of salt
1/4 teas Oregano
1/4 teas cumin

Put all of this in a pot and cook to the thickness you like, I usually simmer for 15 mins, Then ladle into hot jars and seal. No hot water bath needed.
