    Default Is this software dead?

I have a paid version of FSP 5.0 (which gives me error messages) and have downloaded and installed FSP 6.0 prerelease 3 and was just starting to use it. Now when I try to open it, I get an error message that it expired on 12/29/12. What gives? Is 6.0 going to go final anytime soon, or has it been abandoned?

Understandable. Is it possible for you to at least extend the expiration date of the pre-release so I can use it until you have time to work on it again? As it stands now, the program is completely non-functional.

Yes, I will manage that this weekend at the latest. Until then, in a pinch you can turn back your computer clock to last year and it'll work.

I'm still using version 5.0 and am looking for an app for my new Andriod. Is there a chance FSP will be able to sync to the smart phones?

Eventually, yes. After 6.0 comes out the plan is to do an android port with full syncing to the PC version.

Alright, I uploaded prerelease 4 http://www.foodstorageplanner.com/fsp6.html with hopefully fewer bugs (crosses fingers) , I'll rebuild and upload the mac version tomorrow or Monday.

Thank you so much! Does this one have an expiration date?

We have been discussing FSP on the food storage yahoo group. Several of us can't use version 5 on windows 7, so what is the status of version 6? I have downloaded and installed it but have been hesitant to use it if it’s not going to be a finished product. It is a lot of work and time to build your pantry in fsp and not be able to use it in the future. How about an update so I can share it on the user group on yahoo.

Once again, FSP 6.0 has expired (12/31/13). This is the prerelease 4.0, and it appears that nothing has been released since a year ago today. Backblast hasn't even logged in here in six months (hope he's ok. . . anyone know?). I suppose I should assume that this software is dead, and the money I spent on it has been wasted. Oh, well, back to an Excel spreadsheet. . .

I do wish that BackBlast would do as he planned . . . "android port with full syncing to the PC version." I have been using version 5.0 for the last three years and really don't want to change software but I want the inventory and shopping lists on my smart phone. So-o-o, I am testing two Android apps Prep & Pantry (originally for the iPhone, now in Beta for Android) and Grocery Tracker. It means I have to start from scratch to enter the inventory . . . but ya gotta do what you gotta do :-/

I'm alive, and a small update was put up.

But I really haven't had time to put into this, going on 6 kids and the day job and and... sigh.
