Default Buckets on a concrete floor

I just realized that, even though I know better, I have plastic buckets of food on my concrete garage floor. Now, from what I understand, the problem is that it leaches lye up out of the concrete and into the food. Are the buckets of food on the ground no good now? I did a little bit of searching and lye is frequently used as a food preservative. So hopefully my food isn't ruined, it would merely taste bad.
Of course, it is also mylar lined and nitrogen packed. Would the mylar keep the lye out?
I'm hoping someone can tell me that I don't have to throw food away. And yes, I will be getting it up off the concrete soon.

How long have they been their? If you buckets have a raised edge where the bottom of the bucket does not touch the floor you should be OK. It takes years for it to leach up.

The longest any of them have been there is three years. I think they have a raised edge. I'll go check. They're Walton Feed super pails.
