    Default Worm Farm

Something I have not seen mentioned before, is worm farming. Worms produce excellent fertilizer and they also are good to feed to the chickens als.

It seems to be cheap to start and basically nothing to maintain. Has anyone here ever try worm farms?

I've read about this and have wanted to do it for ages--perhaps I will finally do it this fall. Just trying to find a good place temperature-wise. The basement would be OK most of the time, but might get below 40 for some of winter.

It appears most people raise them in the house and say they do not smell. They say if it has a foul odor then something is wrong and it needs to be fixed.

I really think I might try this. The benefits look really good.
