I got an email recently from the local group that does bulk food purchases from Walton Feed. Apparently, someone back east has put in a massive order, and even though our local co-op is a large and regular customer, we can't get our semi-annual order filled until January. Normally we can get it filled in October.
This run on food storage seems even more massive than the y2k one.
On their front page it says this(http://www.waltonfeed.com/): Orders are currently 12 weeks out.
