I wanted to purchas the white onion for ~ $14 a can. But they required 6 cans to get that price.

I like onion, but can't justify that much.

Yeah Aldon,
That is one downside if there are no other people around you ordering.. Maybe you can talk to some people at church and let them know that you want to order, but that you need 6 cans for that price..
Also, the church has the dehydrated onions. You can go in and get 1 can if you like, I think it's cheaper there too.. but you will have to can the WHOLE box if they dont' have any already up on the shelf. I like to make Kaiser rolls and put an egg wash on top of the roll then add some deh. onions on top and make my own Onion Rolls.. Hubby loves these..
Geanie.

The Country Fresh Farms powdered milk is what I keep. It stirs easily and it really doesn't taste bad.

If I felt better I'd try to hit this sale. I just hate throwing up in random public places. Throwing up in Macey's is more embarrassing than throwing up in Wal-Mart for some reason.

Throwing up in Macey's is more embarrassing than throwing up in Wal-Mart for some reason.

Maybe that's because Macey's shoppers at least have dignity.

You could be lying on the floor of a Wal-Mart (I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking about that) having convulsions and nobody would think you're out of place.

The stockers might get a little annoyed if you're still in the way of one of their giant pallets at 1 AM.

I'm not exactly sure, but I think I started buying from Emergency Essentials over 20 years ago, back when they had a different name and had just one location. I don't remember where it was, just that it was one of the first places I drove to once I got my driver's license.

We've bought a lot from them over the years. Camping stuff, a bread mixer, food storage, MRE's, all good.

I remember the day Katrina hit, calling them and placing an order. They were out of a lot of stuff, but they had much of what I wanted.

Good company to do business with.

I too am a fan of Emergency Essentials. I have purchased a lot from them over the years and they have always done very well by me.

I can not think of one order that has been messed up and their monthly group specials really offer a lot of value. They are top notch in my book and highly recommended.

419!

I've dealt with them for years as well and never had any problems. The only thing I would caution is that their prices on non-food items is not always your best. Shop around for those items. Food products can't be beat.

Aww c'mon - you gotta make a game out of it! ".... that garbage can, ....that mailbox, ...that planter, ...that lady's purse....."
Just kidding - I totally feel for your situation! Not fun having that "perpetual barf" feeling!

...Throwing up in Macey's is more embarrassing than throwing up in Wal-Mart for some reason.

That's because it's your "peeps"!
[sorry - had to do it!]

I don't get the peeps thing.

It's funny, cuz I was getting paper towels at Wal-Mart the other day and I was thinking as I pulled some out, leaving the big empty cardboard shipping box... hey! That'd be a good place! :l0 (49): :001_ssad:

P.S. So if you ever hear your kids say, "Eww... what's that?" for the love of Pete, pay attention!
